Cindy: 你应该要跟你的老板抱怨一下.
Yann: 算了. 我的同事都有一样的感觉. 我的朋友在别的公司也是要加班，所以我觉得每一个地方都是一样的.

因为老板又要我今天在公司加班.

Raphael: 让我们来解释今天的对话. 第一句是
Kirin: 为什么你今天那么晚才回家?
Raphael: 你们记得 回家 是什么意思吗?
Adam: That means “to go home.”
Raphael: 所以你们知道这个句子的意思吗?
Kirin: 为什么你今天那么晚才回家?
Adam: “How come you came home so late today?” In this case, the conversation is taking place at home, so the 回家 becomes “come home” rather than “go home.” As well, notice the use of 才 here, which emphasizese that the action is thaking longer than he should have.
Kirin: 为什么你今天那么晚才回家?
Raphael: 然后这个男生说
Kirin: 因为老板又要我今天在公司加班.
Raphael: 在这个句子的后面,我们看到今天的第一个生字
Kirin: 加班.
Raphael: 以前我们看过 上班 跟 下班. 如果下班的时候，你的工作还没做完，你必需要继续上班，这个时候就是 加班 的意思.
Adam: And that means “to work overtime.”
Kirin: 因为老板又要我今天在公司加班.
Adam: “Because my boss wanted me to stay at the company to work overtime again.”
Raphael: 然后这个女生说
Kirin: 你最近好像常常加班.
Raphael: 你们记得 好像 是什么意思吗?
Adam: That means “it seems that.”
Raphael: 所以你们觉得这个句子是什么意思?
Kirin: 你最近好像常常加班.
Adam: “Recently, it seems that you’ve often been working overtime.”
Raphael: 然后她继续说
Kirin: 你的工作一定很辛苦.
Raphael: 你们记得 辛苦 是什么意思吗?
Adam: That means “to work to the point of exhaustion.”
Kirin: 你的工作一定很辛苦.
Adam: “Your work must really be exhausting.”
Raphael: 然后这个男生说
Kirin: 对. 最近工作的压力很大.

Adam: And this means “pressure.”

Adam: So the literal meaning here is “Also don’t have what time can rest”; which ends up meaning “As well, there’s no time to rest.”

Adam: And that means “colleague or co-worker.”

Adam: That means “feeling.”

Adam: That means “company.”
